3510-12: ÒCirca 1855, three-story, four-register, Italianate double, stuccoed. Overhanging flat roof with modillioned wood cornice; full-height, first floor windows; second entrance added to altered east facade.Ó

1869-1872: A deed was transferred to Belle C. Hixson from Henry C. Young (37, 188)

            The 1866 Directory lists Henry C. Young, cashier Commonwealth Bank living at 1427 N. 7th.  The 1870 and 1880 censuses list him at 3502 Spring Garden St.

            The 1870 census 2nd enumeration actually lists them at 3506 Bridge (Spring garden) St. but the numbering is wrong or was changed.

            The 1866 Directory lists A. Hixson, salesman at 28 N. 3rd, house: 421 Wetherill

1906 Blue Book: Mr. & Mrs. Alexander Aikens & daughters

            Perhaps this is Alexander (50, born in Ireland) and Ellen (46, born in England) Aikens with 3 daughters.  He was a policeman.  They lived at 304 Vine St. in 1900.

            In 1910, Henry and son Harry were boarders at 1708 Green St.  Henry was a builder and Harry was a shop apprentice.  Henry was widowed.  In 1900, Henry was boarding with the James Truitt family at 642 N. Franklin.  He listed his birth date as April, 1866.  He was widowed and working as a builder.  He was listed as having had 3 children, with 1 surviving (although this question was supposed to be answered only by women).

            In 1930, Blanch (now widowed) and her step-son Harry were living at 6025 Overbrook.  Harry was a building carpenter.
