3604-06: “Circa 1880, two-and-one-half story, Queen
Anne-style double composed of red brick; decorated with pressed brick belt
courses and corbelled brick below gable windows. Gables are faced with red and gray
slate shingles, the mansarded roof also gray slate
shingles. Windows and doorways have splayed arched lintels and surrounds; the
original wood porch is intact”

brother William J. Shedwick were working together as
carpenters. Their business was at 3410
Mt. Vernon.
John Shedwick
and his sons were home builders who built many homes in the area. The “Shedwick
Development Houses” at 3433-3439
Lancaster Ave. are on the National Register
of Historic Places.
