the 1870 census with their mother, Elizabeth Hall. They were probably living on the north side
of the 4000 block of Haverford. Charles
Hall and his brother were brick manufacturers.
James was listed as owning $50,000 in real estate. In 1860, Charles was a farmer and James was
in school.
